Updated Academic Calendar for 4th Sem MBA, MBA (DM) Programmes - The Visvesvaraya Technological University has revised the academic calendar for the 4th semester of the MBA and MBA (DM) programmes. The updated calendar includes important dates and deadlines relevant to the students enrolled in these programmes.
KCET 2026 registrations are now open. Candidates can submit their online application forms until February 17, 2026, through the official KEA portal: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Veterinary Sciences. The KCET 2026 examination is scheduled for April 23 and 24, 2026.
Examination Time Table for M.Arch (ASA) Released - The Examination Time Table for eligible students of M.Arch (ASA) for the Semester End Examination scheduled for December 2025/January 2026 has been released.

VTU conducts admission to B.Tech courses on the basis of KCET scores. The provisional answer key is already released and the final answer key will be released on May 10, 2024. KCET 2024 results for admissions at VTU will be released on May 20, 2023 on the official website.
Visvesvaraya Technological University was established in the year 1998 in the Belgavi town of Karnataka. It was also commonly referred to as VTU Belgaum or VTU Belgavi. VTU is one of the largest technological universities in India. It is recognised for its excellence in ‘Engineering & Technical Education, Research and Innovations’. VTU courses list comprises 37 undergraduate programmes and 96 postgraduate programmes, along with doctoral level and M.Sc (Engineering) by Research courses under seven faculties. VTU admissions are done both on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam or on the basis of the entrance exam conducted against the courses. VTU placements are conducted every year through the centralised placement cell, also known as VTU-CPC. VTU Courses and Admission 2026
VTU Belgaum courses are provided under nine departments. They are aerospace engineering, applied science, civil engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, management studies and VTU PG centres. VTU courses include various undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, doctoral-level courses and MSc by Research courses. VTU has a dedicated centralised placement cell that looks after the overall VTU placements. It conducts meetings with corporates regarding the internship and placements, organises free-placement training and arranges workshops/seminars/mock interviews making sure all the students are placement ready. VTU Cutoff 2026
VTU cutoff for KCET is the minimum rank that a candidate must achieve to secure admission in various B.Tech specialisations offered by the university. The cutoff varies each year and is determined based on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the KCET exam, the total number of seats available, and the previous year's cutoff trends. It is important for candidates to rank within the cutoff to ensure their eligibility for admission. VTU cutoff 2024 for B.Tech will be released after the declaration of the KCET results, and candidates who meet the cutoff are invited for the counselling process.
